Information and FAQs about our garden waste collection service. Payments will open on 1 March.
We, with our partners, are placing greater emphasis on making the local environment cleaner, safer and greener.
Did you know that 66% of residents feel keeping local streets clean is important in making Welwyn Hatfield a good place to live.
You can help us to achieve this! Please do not litter or fly-tip in our borough. Such offences are illegal and you may be fined or prosecuted.
We are authorised to investigate the following environment offences:
- presenting rubbish or recycling too early, or contaminating recycling boxes/bins
- graffiti and fly-posting
- non-compliance of business premises duty of care regarding their waste
- dog fouling
Did you know that you can also be fined for failing to present your bins for collection properly. Read our information about bin collections and your responsibilities.
