Subscribe to garden waste collection

We run an optional, chargeable garden waste service, we can collect your green waste and send it to a local compost facility.

There is an annual charge for the first bin and for the second bin. Garden Waste is collected fortnightly all year round

The price is fixed for the whole year, no matter when you subscribe and covers collections from April 1 until 31 March.

Only those properties that have chosen to subscribe will have their garden waste collected.

Subscriptions for April 2025 to March 2026 have now closed.

Subscriptions for April 2026 to March 2027 will go live from 18 February 2026.

Residents who have subscribed in 2025-2026 will be contacted in early 2026 with information on how to re-subscribe.

If you have set up a Direct Debit, you do not need to re-register to use this service. Your payment will be taken on 1 March 2026.

If you do not have a Direct Debit already set up, you can subscribe to the garden waste collection service online from 18 February 2026.
