Health Matters

Health Matters is a project run by the Borough Council and its partners in the Hertfordshire NHS Hertfordshire and Youth Connexions. It promotes and gives you a snap shot of some of the different sporting, cultural and health related activities available to residents across the borough.

Health Matters is a project designed to promote everything that is on offer within the borough that keeps us fit and healthy. The project looks into public health services, youth services, educational support or physical activity opportunities. Welwyn Hatfield has a vast array of opportunities for all members of our community to keep physically and mentally fit.

One of the main aims of the Health Matters project was the production of a film all about the different services and organisations running in the borough. The film, which was put together with the support of young people from Breaks Manor Youth Centre, interviews and reviews sports clubs, local organisations, doctors and medical professionals. If you would like a copy of the film, or are interested in any part of the film, please get in touch with Matt Rayner on 01707 357174 or m.rayner@welhat.gov.uk
