The Queen's Sapphire Jubilee Awards are awards for young people aged between 7 and 20 years old to support them to get started, improve and excel in sport/art/dance or drama.
The Award can be used to cover expenses such as equipment, coaching, travel or fees essential to their progress.
The deadline for Queen's Sapphire Jubilee Award Applications is Friday 10th January 2020.
How to apply
Applications for Queen's Sapphire Jubilee Awards must be made on the official Queens Sapphire Jubilee Award application form. Paper copies can be requested by contacting us on 01707 357 567.
Requests by letter, email or telephone will not be considered.
Please refer to the award criteria before completing the application form.

Please complete your own individual application, bulk non-individual applications will not be considered. Please also complete the application in full and not just mark it "refer to attached". Supplementary forms will be accepted but should not be used in place of the application form itself.
A panel of members will consider the applications. Please note applicants for an Exemplar Award should also apply for an Improver Award if appropriate, the Grants Board will not automatically place unsuccessful Exemplar applicants into the Improver Category.

What happens if I am successful?
Awards are presented to successful candidates at Annual Council in May. Successful applicants will receive a cheque for the amount awarded, please note cheques will not be sent out before Annual Council in May.
The successful candidates and their guests are invited to an annual presentation ceremony. A photographer is normally present at the ceremony and photos may be used in publicity. Successful applicants must keep us informed of their progress and how the money was spent.
