All of our burial grounds are open 365 days a year, including all bank holidays and Christmas Day.

Works taking place at the cemetery

We are removing the rows of brick columbaria in the centre of the cemetery and constructing a new plinth to provide additional grave space. Icon for pdf Click here to see the plan.

Works commenced on Tuesday 22nd September and are scheduled to be complete by Monday 12th October. The cemetery remains open to visitors throughout however, we have temporarily suspended burial bookings.

There will be a degree of noise and the parking bays situated by the mausoleums and memorial rose garden will be unavailable whilst the work is carried out.

A number of memorial benches have been temporarily moved so that they are a safe distance from the works. They will be returned to their original location once the works have been complete and the lawn has been reinstated.
