Discount for Apprentices
If you are under 25 and doing an Apprenticeship you can get a Council Tax discount.
Apply using the Council Tax Apprentice Discount Form. You can also get this form from the Council Tax office.
Discount for Young people
School leavers do not have to pay Council Tax.
To qualify:
- you must be under 20
- have left school or college between 30 April and 1 November of the current year
- your parents our guardians must get Child Benefit for you.
You do not have enrol onto a course to qualify.
