The instalments set out in your bill will be automatically debited from your account every month.
You can set up a Direct Debit by completing the form below.
You must provide the following to set up your Direct Debit:
- bank details
- the date you want to pay
You can arrange for your account to be debited over 10 or 12 monthly instalments, set up for:
- the first of the month
- day 15
- day 25

Direct Debit guarantee
All the standard Direct Debit safeguards and guarantees are offered by banks and building societies that accept instruction to pay Direct Debits.
If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit the Council will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as previously agreed.
If you ask us to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.
If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit by us or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society
If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when we notify you.
You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required, which should also be sent to us.
