An elector may appoint an emergency proxy at an election up to 5pm on polling day in certain circumstances.
An emergency proxy may be granted where the emergency has occurred after 5pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021 on the grounds of a physical incapacity, for work/service reasons or attendance at a training or educational course.
If you cannot reasonably attend the polling station because you are self-isolating or unwell as a result of Covid-19, you will be able to apply for an emergency proxy vote
All applications must be received by the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday 6 May 2021. Please contact Electoral Services on 01707 357300 for advice if this is required.
Please note that all absent voting applications require your personal identifiers - date of birth and signature, and must be completed correctly.
