Apply for an alcohol and entertainment licence
Be extra vigilant for potential licensing renewal scams
We have been made aware of a licensing scam targeting local businesses.
Businesses have reported receiving fraudulent calls from scammers pretending to be from the council asking for a payment to renew Personal or Premises licences. We do not call businesses to ask them to renew their licences.
If you have any concerns at all about making a licensing payment please contact us at licensing@welhat.gov.uk or call us on 01707 357402 to check it is legitimate.
