Housing repairs video consultation

We now offer the option of video call consultations to discuss your housing repair.

If you have chosen the option of  video call consultation, an appointment will be booked for you at an agreed time.

If you are unable to attend your appointment please contact us at housingmaintenance@welhat.gov.uk as soon as possible to let us know.

You will receive an email beforehand with a unique link to attend the consultation.

Ten minutes before the start of your appointment time you should:

  • Click on your video call link
  • Microsoft Teams will open in your browser, make sure you 'join as guest'
  • Check your camera and microphone work

You will then enter a waiting room and we will let in you when we are ready to start. Should you experience any technical issues during your video call, please let us know as soon as possible and we can arrange an alternative method.

Please be aware that if you don't have access to Wi-Fi, video calls made using Microsoft Teams require approximately 2MB of data per minute.
