Commercial Premises (Business)
You can report statutory noise nuisance to us if it is being caused by a business.
We will then investigate. If we find that the business is causing a statutory nuisance, we will instruct the premises to take action to prevent it.
This could include:
- maintenance
- change of operation times
- remedial works.
In some cases the business may take action and the noise still occurs.
If the business has done all it can to remedy the situation this is known as 'taking all best practicable means' and it will not be possible fior us to take any further action.
