Direct Debit is the safest and easiest way to pay your Council Tax.
To set up your Direct Debit you need:
- your bank details
- the date you want to pay

The instalments shown in your bill will be automatically taken from your account every month.
You can arrange to pay over 10 or 12 monthly instalments. These can be set up for:
- the first of the month
- day 15
- day 25
If you don't chose an option payments will be taken on the first of the month, over 10 months. You can find out more at register for Council Tax.

The information you give us is needed to manage your Council Tax and for us to meet our statutory duties. It will not be used for anything else.
