Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council offers residents a comprehensive subsidised pest control service for domestic premises.

All pest control treatments are supplied by our contractor, Dial A Pest, which is part of SDK Environmental Limited.

Please ensure that you let DialAPest know that you are a resident of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council to guarantee our discounted prices. Additional support or free treatments are available for customers in receipt of certain qualifying benefits.

Please make use of this service if you need to report pest activity on Council owned land. No charges apply and DialAPest will investigate the problem.

Concessionary rates

Qualifying benefits for concessionary rates are as follows :

  • Income support
  • Disabled persons tax credit
  • Council tax benefit
  • Housing benefit
  • State retirement pension

You will be required to show proof of benefit entitlement and a utility bill to the Pest Technicians when they call.


How to pay

Payment for treatments is normally collected by debit or credit card once your booking has been confirmed.

You have the right to cancel and obtain a full refund at any time up and until the treatment commences.

All work is subject to our contractor's treatment terms and conditions.
