Do not leave excess recyclables around the recycling banks if you have a lot or because the banks are full - they will not be recycled.

Glass

Rinse your glass containers before placing them in the recycling bins. Bottles and jars should be sorted by colour (small amounts of blue glass can go in the green bottle bank).

Do not use the bottle banks late at night or early morning as the noise could disturb nearby residents.

Plastic bottles
