During the difficult time of losing someone, you will need to let different government organisations (including us) know.

You can use the Tell Us Once service to report a death to most government organisations in one go.

Registering a death

Before using the Tell Us Once service, you will need to register the death.

During the appointment, the Registrar will give you a unique reference number and advise you about how to use the service.

  • Public Sector Pension Services
