What you can report
Report problems with council owned trees using this service.
You can report an issue with a tree on land owned by us (Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council) using our online form.
This includes:
- parks and open spaces
- cemeteries and churchyards
- allotments
- council homes
Problems that can be reported include:
- damage
- fallen trees and branches
- branches that are touching a building
- trees growing low over a footpath or road
- trees causing a trip hazard
You will need to tell us:
- the location of the tree
- if the tree is on private property or land
- what the main issue with the tree is
- your contact details*
*These are not required but will help us if we need to contact you for further information to help resolve the problem.
You should report any damage to footpaths or drives, caused by roots from street trees, to Hertfordshire County Council.
