Flyposting

Flyposting is the illegal placing of a political or other poster (notice) in a public place without the authority of the council.

We may be able to issue a fine or even prosecute those responsible.

Illegal flyposting on private property should be reported to the owner as it is their responsibility to remove. If you are not able to contact them, let us know and we may be able to serve notice on the owners/occupiers of land to remove it.

Report flyposting

You will need to tell us:

  • a description of the flyposting
  • the location of the flyposting
  • any images or documents*

*These are not required but will help us identify the flyposting.

To report flyposting on media boxes, contact Virgin Media at nam@virginmedia.co.uk or call 0870 888 3116.
