Work Experience
We welcome applications for work experience at our council. We have been delighted to support many local young (and older) people by offering them meaningful work experience with us.
We have a diverse range of opportunities from corporate services, community and leisure services as well as resident services such as housing.
If you would like to request a work experience placement with us use the the online form below to register your interest.
Important information before you apply
Forms must be submitted at least eight weeks before the requested start date of the work experience.
We have limited work experience placements available so we regret that we may not be able to accommodate your request. We will use the information you provide in this form to help us offer placements to the most suitable candidate.
This form will time out after ten minutes and the information will not be saved. We would recommend saving your answers elsewhere so you can copy and paste them into the form and complete it within that time.
