Parking Consultation for Wellfield Road and Kennelwood Lane Car Parks

The objection period for this consultation has now closed.

One objection was received and was considered, along with the Parking Officer's report and recommendation, at Cabinet Planning and Parking Panel on Thursday 9 November 2023.

The panel voted unanimously to approve the recommendation within the report to proceed with the restrictions as advertised.

The new restrictions are:

• Wellfield Road Car Park - Permits will be required to park in the car park Monday to Sunday 7am to 9pm.
• Kennelwood Lane Car Park - A pay and display option will be available for a maximum stay of 4 hours when paying, and a free ticket option for 1 hour, Monday to Sunday 7am-5:30pm. After 5:30pm each day, the car park will be closed to the public, parking after this time by non-permit holders would lead to a PCN being issued.

Also included will be electric vehicle charging points, disabled badge holder electric charging points during public hours, and two loading bays at all times.
