Help with mortgage arrears
If you are finding it hard to keep up with your mortgage repayments, or you have already fallen in to mortgage arrears, contact us as soon as possible.
We may be able to help you. We will assess your current situation and advise you of your options. We can also refer you to any other agencies who may be able to assist you.
Do not ignore any correspondence from your mortgage company. The sooner you speak to them, the easier it is to make an arrangement to repay.
If your home is at risk of repossession
If you are asked to attend court for a repossession hearing, it is important that you attend.
We can help with the paperwork that you need to complete and may be able to help with the cost of the court fees.
When you attend court, it is important that you tell the Judge as much as you can about how and why you are in your current situation.
Bring any paperwork from your landlord or mortgage company to any appointments with us as well as the court hearing.
