Oversight by the Investigatory Powers Commissioner's Office (IPCO)
The Investigatory Powers Commissioner has responsibility for reviewing the use of investigatory powers by public authorities. He is supported by a team of Judicial Commissioners.
IPCO have a statutory obligation to regularly inspect and oversee the use of investigatory powers by public authorities.
