Band C: High need to move
You are classed as being band c if:
- you have been assessed as High Medical Priority and your current accommodation is not appropriate for your medical needs
- you need two or more extra bedrooms
- you have high social circumstances that are affected by your current housing that would be helped by a change of housing
- you are sharing with a dependent child (or children) and do not have a secure tenancy
- you have been given a valid Notice to Quit from your landlord and it would be our main duty to house you when you became homeless
- you are a council tenant living in an adapted property (with adaptations you no longer need) and that are needed by another resident
- you are a council (or a local Registered Provider) tenant who has been in bedsit for over a year and wants to move to a one bedroom flat
- you are a council (or a local Registered Provider) tenant sharing a bedroom with your child.
