Residents Panel

This is a group of Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council tenants and leaseholders who help shape the housing services you receive.
They act as a ‘critical friend’ looking at performance data, complaints, strategies and policies, using this information to hold us to account.
The main activities of the Panel are:
- Looking at our housing services and making recommendations for improvement
- Monitoring our Resident Involvement Strategy
- Reviewing draft policies and procedures
- Reviewing and challenging the council’s performance data
The Panel meet monthly (except in August). Attendance can be in person at the council offices or online.
Commitment
There are monthly meetings of 1.5 - 2 hours and members are sent information to read between meetings. There are also shorter ad-hoc meetings for individual topics, 4-5 hours a month.
Panel members must sign up to the Code of Conduct.
For more information see the Terms of Reference
