The information collected in our parking permit account and its applications is neceasary only to administer your permits or relevant vouchers, and for the prevention of fraud, and will not be used for any other purposes.

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council is committed to protecting your privacy when you use our services. 

The Authority is under a duty to protect the public funds it administers, and to this end may use the information you have provided in your applications you make for the prevention of fraud.

In terms of when using a visitor voucher, our enforcement officers would only know that the vehicle is eligible to park within the assigned permit zone.

Our back office staff only access the proofs provided on permit accounts in order to confirm eligibility and ensure the digital permits and vouchers are correctly assigned to eligible permit addresses contained within the permit zones.

We do not allow the data to be used for any other reasons aside from identifying vehicles which are allowed to park within the relevant permit zone or car park.
