Information Sharing and Confidentiality

11.1 We are party to number of information sharing agreements to enable us to verify application requests and for the purposes of tracking and preventing fraud.

We will comply the relevant data protection legislation when doing so.

11.2 When we share information, we will ensure that the transfer of information is done safely, the information is stored appropriately and is not shared with a third party without permission unless there is a legal basis for doing so.

11.3 When we receive Freedom of Information or Subject Access Requests we will deal with these lawfully and within the guidance from the Information Commissioners Office.
