Successors who are Minors

9.1 A minor can succeed to a tenancy where they fulfil the statutory criteria and where they have sufficient capacity and support to manage a tenancy.

In these circumstances an agreement of tenancy will be provided until the legal interests of the tenancy can be passed to them, aged eighteen.

9.2 The minor will have the rights of a legal tenancy and must abide by the terms of the agreement. They will also be liable for payment of rent and charges.
