Definitions Of Commonly used Terms

Information Request:

4.1 An information request is a request submitted under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR), or the Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA) and the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). For the purposes of this document, the term information request will be confined to requests made under FOIA and EIR.
